As a true IntraTeam Event veteran attending the conference for the fourth time I was looking forward to the annual intranet ‘family reunion’ in Copenhagen that Kurt and his ‘Intra Team’ usually puts together, so before leaving my home in Aarhus on my three hour train ride to get there I naturally had high expectations to this year’s event and I was – once again – not disappointed.

This was the seventh time Janus Boye has brought web and intranet specialists together for a conference in the Danish city of Aarhus, but only the first time Intranetizen has made it along.

Originally a conference focussed on external web, the J Boye conferences now have dedicated tracks for Intranet and Collaboration, as well as a wide variety of areas relevant to those managing intranets, such as mobile, UX, enterprise search and CMS/Web Experience Management.

Last week all four of us headed to Interaction Intranet Conference 2012, the UK’s only major intranet conference.

Having begun life as an event for Interact customers, last year the organisers took the bold step of spinning it off into a day-long event open to all, bringing together some of the best thinkers and speakers on intranets from across the globe.

They built on that success this year, with an excellent speaker line-up and over 200 intranet practitioners attending from across Europe.
