Digital Communication Awards
The Digital Communication Awards honour outstanding achievements, professional campaigning and strategic thinking in online communications in a range of categories including intranets.
AWARD CATEGORIES
The Digital Communication Awards has 34 categories. Your intranet project could be entered into a number including Innovation of the Year, Employer Branding, Internal Communications, CSR comms, Mobile and Apps, and a dedicated category for intranets. Take your pick.
KEY INFORMATION
Entries open in June and close in June or July depending on how much you’d care to pay. Details of how to enter are available here. These awards are not cheap costing €290 + VAT per entry (€190 for the second and subsequent entry). Late entries will also attract a €75 fee. If your project is shortlisted, you’ll be mandated to travel to Berlin to deliver a ten minute presentation on your project at your own cost, with the awards handed out at the dinner event the same day in September. If you can’t be at the jury, you won’t win.
PREVIOUS WINNERS
Lots of categories, so lots of winners. You’ll find the roll call for 2014 here.
Good Things
- Clear, concise process
- Lots of choice of category
Bad Things
- Cost. Ouch. This one is SUPER expensive once you factor in the (non-obligatory but you're in Berlin anyway) awards dinner
- Academic feeling. It's run by Quadriga University.
